February is already ending, and we are heading into the month of March. Can you believe we are already two months into 2024?

For those of Irish descent, March marks the month of the holiday St. Patrick’s Day, celebrating the patron saint of Ireland, St. Patrick. Over time, the holiday has become more secular, becoming a holiday celebrating all things Irish.

For those of you who are looking for ideas to spend your St. Patrick’s Day, we present three brewery/pubs near Prospector Ranch.

1. Tipsy Goat

Located in Thousand Oaks, the Irish pub offers a variety of domestic, imported, and IPA draft beers. To pair with your drink, it offers a variety of snacks and larger meals for you to munch on. The pub already has St. Patrick festivities up on their website, offering live music, green beer and Irish whisky, Irish dancers, Bagpipes, and authentic Irish food like corned beef and cabbage.

2. Tarantula Hill Brewing Company

Located in Thousand Oaks, it offers a variety of craft beers to choose from. It also serves as a restaurant, where you can order food such as pizza, sandwiches, tacos, and burritos. While you’re enjoying a beer on the holiday, you can also be munching on tasty snacks. At this time, they have no plans for St. Patrick’s Day festivities, though that might change as the holiday gets closer.

3. 14 Cannons

Located in Westlake Village, it serves a variety of beers, brewed on site, such as Lagers, Ales and Hoppys. They also have snacks to munch on while enjoying your drink. Currently, they have no plans for St. Patrick’s Day festivities, though that might change as it gets closer to the holiday.

When planning your St. Patrick’s Day festivities, think about us as your home away from home! Make it a weekend getaway. What better way to start and end a day of celebration than spending the night in our Conestoga Covered Wagon, our Safari Tent, or our vintage 1972 Airstream?
