Prospector Ranch’s 2024 Goals

New year, new us! We can’t believe it’s been almost four years since we started our business. Time seems to go both terribly slow and terribly fast sometimes, doesn’t it? 

We’re excited to be growing our business and meeting more wonderful new guests and customers this year. 

Speaking of guests, a big goal of Meggan’s for 2024 is to grow the Guest Ranch side of the business, making it more of a gathering place for families and couples. She’s planning on selling the vintage airstream and buying a new 22 foot RV that can have up to six people. When all is said and done, between the Conestoga covered wagon, the luxurious rustic tent and the upcoming new RV, we will be able to host up to 14 people on the ranch. This can be perfect for a larger party who would need all three accommodations. Our social media manager, Shayleene MacReynolds, is planning on reaching out to a select group of travel influencers to introduce them to our ranch. If you yourself are a travel influencer and are interested, contact us through our Instagram or Facebook, and we can chat! 

With a new member to our team who specializes in events, another goal of ours is to have a couple of events, whether it be weddings, birthday parties, baby/bridal showers or bachelor/bachelorette parties, every month. Our saloon is a highlight of the property, having been the center for many events in the past.

Finally, in addition to advancing the Guest Ranch side of things, Meggan also wants to expand Prospector Ranch as a location for filming or photoshoots. We’re planning on reaching out to some location companies and scouts this year. With the strike now coming to a close, we hope to network and work with more people in the entertainment business. 

We feel so blessed to see this business grow and get bigger and bigger as the years go by. We look forward to meeting many new guests, customers, and artists this year. Let’s go, 2024! We’re ready.
