Here at Prospector Ranch, we are located near many wineries. After all, we are but a short drive away from many beaches known for their wine selections as well as their waves.
If this sounds like something up your alley, we have three ideas to get you started.
Best of all, if you want to make your wine-tasting escapade an overnight adventure, you can stay in one of our Airbnbs! We offer a a unique Conestoga covered wagon, a vintage 1972 Airstream or a rustic Safari Tent, each one nestled on our quiet ranch property just minutes from civilization.
Located just 5 minutes off the 101 Freeway, people come from all over to visit Cornell Winery, which is located in the Santa Monica Mountains between Malibu and Agoura Hills. Depending on what you’re interested in, you can book their signature wine tasting where you enjoy reserved seating in their back room or patio while tasting 7 different wines with the option of adding snacks to the reservation if desired, or their trio wine tasting experience where there is no reservation required and you get to enjoy trying three different wines from their tasting menu, enjoying sipping the drinks in their tasting room or outside at one of their tables.

Located in Westlake Village, this family-owned business offers a classy wine-tasting experience. They accept both reservations and walk-ins.
They have wine tasting during both the week and weekends. If you are looking for some entertainment while you are sipping on your drinks, they have live music nights and karaoke nights. This business is located in Malibu, right across from the beach. They have great local wines.
They also have many live music events, featuring local artists that have a variety of music styles, from folk-pop, rock, and Retro-Funk/Reggae/Dance Rock. In addition to live music, they also occasionally have comedy nights, if you are in the mood to get some good laughs out of your evening.
